Prototype using a tablet To try out the idea I built a prototype using the edge of a tablet screen. I made a simple JS script to slice up the image and project it onto the edge over a period of time. After that I set an exposure of multiple seconds on the camera and pulled the tablet across the camera. Circuit The whole system consists of an Arduino UNO with an SD card module on it.

Due to my room’s layout I had to climb over the bed to close the curtains. To optimize that I added a motor unit to drive the curtains automatically. Your browser doesn't support HTML video.
